A simple story following the life of a student. The lighting, composition, and pacing develop a sense of emptiness and misery, capturing the character’s feelings. Afterwards, the atmosphere changes, as the student looks out of his balcony and a captivating montage begins. Using the song Melancholy Hill by the Gorillaz, the montage of shots invokes a powerful emotion of hope. This was the first movie I produced that made me feel something.
